Serving and Being Served

Presented by:

Some of us feel a compelling need to serve. Others delight in the luxury of being served. We seek the space to appreciate and enjoy the various aspects of service with our partners.

This workshop will begin with a discussion of the meaning of service in an eroticized context and a short account of our journey into service.

Aloysius has been in a service-oriented relationship for nearly eight years. We will discuss the risks and positive aspects of this experience, including the complexity of issues that arise from this interaction, such as: the motivation for service; expectations and how they change over time; the role of protocol; eroticism without sexual interaction; zen and the art of domestic service; reward and punishment.
